| Chocolate/Cream Cheese Layered Dessert, a.k.a. "The Next Best Thing To Robert Redford" (from Judy Corkill, 3/2001) | |
| A: | 1C flour |
| 1/2C margarine (or butter) | |
| 1C pecans, chopped | |
| B: | 1C confectioner sugar (or regular) |
| 8oz cream cheese, softened | |
| C: | 1C Cool Whip |
| D: | 2 small boxes INSTANT chocolate pudding mix |
| 3C milk | |
| E: | Cool Whip |
| 1. | Mix and press (A) into 9"x12" pan. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350F 'til golden. Cool. |
| 2. | Mix (B) well with mixer, stir in (C). Spread on baked crust. |
| 3. | Mix (D) & let sit 5 minutes. Spread on cream cheese mixture. |
| 4. | Top with (E). Cover and refrigerate over night. |
| 5. | For Robert Redford version, 3rd layer is: (6 3/4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix, (6 3/4 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix, 3C cold milk, and 1 chocolate candy bar, grated on top of final Cool Whip. |
