| A: | 4C cherries, pitted | 
| 1C sugar (more if needed) | |
| 4T butter | |
| 1t salt | |
| B: | 3/4C flour | 
| C: | Pie crust for two 9" pies | 
| 1. | Place (A) in pan over low heat, stirring occasionally until butter is melted and sugar dissolved. | 
| 2. | Add (B) to pan, stir to combine. | 
| 3. | Pour filling into (C), top with crust or lattice. | 
| 4. | Bake 375F for 30 minutes. |
